When I received the bottle, it has an inner seal that require scissors to remove. It has a strong scent that I can’t quite identify. The scent isn’t unpleasant or chemical. It’s very easy to apply because you just put it on your hair, but because it’s watery, it can end up dripping everywhere if you’re not careful. It feels nice on my scalp. This product is cruelty free, which I really appreciate.
This scalp treatment from Good&All is very soothing to itchy areas on my head! There is a trick to applying so it may be difficult for some people who aren't certain with watery type applications. Shake the bottle really well to mix the ingredients together, part your hair in sections, and apply it gently and slowly to rows on your scalp. Do not squeeze the bottle or it will pour out too quickly so applying at an angle is best. After applying it to my head, I massaged my scalp and felt a tingliness. It was soothing and helped a lot of areas on my head that get gross in the summer so I'm very appreciative of how soothing it feels. Additionally, the formula is super lightweight so it didn't weigh my hair down or turn me into an oil slick. I think as long as you're very mindful of how you apply this to your head, it's a great product! If you're not willing to follow instructions, maybe look elsewhere. :)
Ingredients to this product are phenomenal. I definitely see myself finishing this entire bottle. The treatment so far has been super hydrating and moisturizing for my scalp and hair. My only complaint is that I wish the peppermint had more of a presence!
I loved this scalp treatment not only on my scalp but on my hair as well. It felt cool and tingly when applied to my scalp and soothed the dryness and itchiness I was experiencing from washing my hair too frequently. I did not experience any negative side effects from this treatment. This treatment has some excellent ingredients and I included a photo of the full ingredient list so everyone can see them. Even though this is intended as a leave-in scalp treatment, I also applied a little of this treatment to the mids and ends of my damp, clean hair, and it felt very hydrating and moisturizing to my hair as well. This product is cruelty-free
I've tried all kinds of scalp treatments, from gels-like serums, to oils, and spray tonics as I've had an ongoing battle with scalp issues that temporarily gets remediated and comes back, and the treatments I've found that work most of the time tend to cost an arm and a leg which isn't so ideal. Keep in mind, this is a runnier formula so take heed when applying, as it's a leave in treatment and for some, it can get messy fast. If anything, shake well, don't squeeze and just let the formula run it through sections on the top of your head. You can slowly let it run down your scalp (not into your eyes) while you work around and follow up with massaging it in slowly . I feel like application could go a little smother for some people if it was in more of a fine spray bottle so you wouldn't have to try to rush though the process of application, to massage it in. Either way, I'm completely here for the feeling of relief and the scent. The peppermint, citrus and bergamot scents are definitely more my speed, as opposed to Rosemary and lavender type treatments. It's so soothing and cooling on the scalp! Chemical treatments are hit or miss, and I'd much rather prefer a more natural treatment like this. Given the price and decent sized bottle, I will be back for more!
